The basics
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. Thirty minutes, no obligation. We look at your skin and hair type, talk through your options and give you a written plan with prices. For laser, a patch test is part of the same visit.
When are you open?
Laser hair removal is on Mondays 9:00 to 14:00 and Thursdays 12:00 to 20:00. Skin boosters and anti-wrinkle consultations are on Wednesdays 9:00 to 17:00. We're closed on Tuesdays, Fridays and weekends.
Where are you, and is there parking?
We're at 35 Fylde Road in Ansdell, Lytham St Annes FY8 4BB, with free parking on Fylde Road.
How do I book?
Book a free consultation online, call 07947 142339, or message us on Instagram @rewindlaserclinic_.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Klarna payments are available, subject to status. Ask us at your consultation.
What if I need to cancel?
Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or rearrange. With less notice, the treatment is charged at the full price and can't be rescheduled. Courses must be taken within 12 months of booking. Payments and deposits are non-refundable.
Do you have a refer-a-friend offer?
Yes. Whatever your friend books, you get the same treatment free.
Do I need a patch test before laser?
Yes, before your first laser session. It shows us how your skin responds and lets us confirm the right laser and settings for you.
Laser hair removal
Is laser hair removal painful?
Most clients find it very comfortable: a quick warm flick, with the handpiece cooling your skin as it goes. Coarser areas like the bikini line can feel a little sharper, and you can ask for a pause at any time.
Why a course of six sessions?
Hair grows in cycles, and laser only affects hairs in their active growth phase. Spacing six sessions a few weeks apart lets us catch each follicle at the right moment. That's why every laser course at Rewind is six sessions.
Is it safe for my skin tone?
Our diode laser is suitable for a wide range of skin tones. We check your skin and hair at your free consultation and patch test, choose the right settings for you, and tell you honestly if laser isn't the right fit.
Will it work on blonde, red or grey hair?
Honestly, usually not. Laser targets pigment in the hair, so very light, red, grey or white hair rarely responds well. We'll tell you at your consultation rather than sell you a course that won't work.
How should I prepare for a session?
Shave the area 24 hours before. Don't wax, pluck, thread or use hair-removal creams for four weeks before or during your course. Avoid sun, sunbeds and fake tan for two weeks before each session.
What's the aftercare?
Some redness for a few hours is normal. Avoid heat (hot baths, saunas, the gym) for 24–48 hours, skip perfumed products on the area for a day, and wear SPF 30+ on treated skin throughout your course.
How does the winter laser offer work?
Courses of six are 50% off the price of six single sessions. The course price is the total for all six sessions, paid upfront or with Klarna, so underarms is £300 for the course instead of £600 as single sessions, which is £50 a session. A consultation and patch test are required before treatment.
Is your laser IPL?
No. We use a medical-grade diode laser. IPL (intense pulsed light) is a broad, unfocused light rather than a laser. A laser uses a precise wavelength to target the hair follicle, which is why we use one for long-lasting hair reduction.
Can I buy a single session?
Yes. Single sessions are charged at the single-session price, for example £100 for underarms. A course of six is half the price of six single sessions. Other areas are priced on request.
Skin boosters
What are skin boosters?
Hydration-focused treatments for the face and the delicate eye area. They improve the quality of the skin itself (hydration, bounce, texture) rather than changing your features. Results build gradually and look natural.
How many sessions will I need?
Many clients choose a course of two or three for the best result. Your practitioner will recommend a plan and the spacing between sessions at your free consultation.
How much do skin boosters cost?
One treatment is £150, a course of two is £250 and a course of three is £350. Your treatment plan is selected following consultation.
Is there downtime?
You may notice small marks or slight swelling for a day or two. Most clients return to normal plans straight away. Full aftercare advice is given on the day.
Anti-wrinkle
Why aren't prices listed for anti-wrinkle treatment?
Anti-wrinkle treatments are prescription-only medicines, and UK advertising rules don't allow them to be promoted with prices. Suitable options and prices are discussed privately after your free assessment.
What happens at the free assessment?
We talk through what you'd like to change, check your medical history, look at how your face moves, and tell you honestly whether treatment is suitable. There's no obligation to go ahead.
Which areas can be assessed?
Forehead, frown lines, crow's feet, nose lines, chin, mouth, jawline and the lower face.
Will I still look like me?
That's the aim. We plan for softer lines and a fresh look, not a frozen one. If something wouldn't suit you, we'll tell you.
